Course Overview

The golf course here at Lago Mar Country Club is under a major renovation which was started back in early April. We have chosen an award winning architect in Kipp Schulties. The course will have multiple tees for all types of players and stretches the course to over 7000 yds for the long hitters. The greens will be planted in Tif-Eagle Bermuda and the tees, fairways, collars and approaches will be planted in Celebration Bermuda grass. We will have over 50 new style bunkers throughout the course with new g-angle sand. New concrete cart paths have been installed throughout the course which tie into our new wooden bridges. The entire golf course has also been totally re-landscaped with many types of native trees, plants, and ornamental grasses. When we re-open, Lago Mar Country Club promises to be a challenging, rewarding experience and provide our members the pure thrill that comes from the game of golf.
